Students chill out while electrical bills stay low

The university is still working on a proposed Energy Conservation Policy that would require thermostats to be set at 68 degrees in the winter and 78 degrees in the summer. Energy conservation is very important to helping our environment, and while people can wear more layers of clothing to class to stay warm, temperatures for campus residences should be considered carefully before regulations are put in place so students living on campus aren’t suffering from cold rooms as the winter sets in.
